Ruth Baker Antioch Bible Training Center Angeles City, Philippines   Ruth and her husband, Owen, answered the call to full time missions in 1978 after many years of ministering in churches, conventions, and women’s meetings in the United States. Their first trip was to the countries of Guyana, (South America) Trinidad Tobago, Barbados, Dominican Republic, and Haiti.   Their next trip was to the nation of the Philippine Islands. After ministering in the Philippines for two years God spoke to their heart concerning “training Nationals to reach Nationals”. Out of that direction and a desire to fulfill the plan of God, Antioch Bible Training Center was birthed.   In September of 2003, Antioch celebrated its twenty-year anniversary. In that twenty-year span over 700 Filipinos have graduated the two-year Bible Training Center. Antioch graduates are not only active in the Philippines but also living and ministering in many other nations around the world.   Even after Owen went home to be with the Lord in 1988 Ruth continues the vision. Ruth’s thinking is this: God was not finished with the vision in 1988, so He’s not finished with me in the Philippines.”   Ruth is available to speak at churches.
